Johku is a Finnish platform designed for easy online sales. Johku combines your website, online store, and sales management into one tool. Since Johku works online, you don't need any special equipment or software - just a computer and a good internet connection.

Website and online store in one package

When you start using Johku, there’s no need for a separate website. You can transfer the text and images from your current website into Johku. If you prefer to keep your existing website, you can integrate Johku to sell products directly on it, using a widget that brings the products from your Johku online store to your site.

Collaborate with other Johku merchants

As a Johku merchant, you’ll gain extra visibility and income by networking with other Johku merchants and using optional sales channels like Booking.com and AirBnB.

For example, if you run activity services, you can cross-sell products with a nearby business using Johku. Let’s say you offer snowmobile safaris, and your customers are interested in dog sledding too. You can partner with a dog sledding company that uses Johku, and sell their trips in your store. They can also sell your snowmobile safaris in theirs.

Does cross-selling sound complicated? In reality, it’s not. Both businesses just need to be on Johku and willing to collaborate. Johku makes it easy for you to trade smoothly, benefiting both parties.

How selling works on Johku

  • Your business registers as a Johku merchant.

  • Your business details (name, contact info, billing info, etc.) are added to Johku’s system.

  • Product pages are created for each of your services or sales items.

  • Availability and pricing are set for each product.

  • Your products are organized into categories and published in your Johku store.

Once you register, your Johku store gets its own web address. If you prefer, you can connect your own domain to your Johku store easily.

With Johku, you only pay a commission on actual sales - there’s no charge for content or product pages. Customers can pay for your products through invoice, online payment, or on-site with cash, card, or MobilePay, depending on your choice.

What can you sell with Johku?

Almost anything can be sold through a Johku store: a cottage rental, hotel accommodations, restaurant or take-out meal, guided tour, picnic basket, museum ticket, handicraft and gift items, or training courses.

Managing sales on Johku

Managing sales in Johku means automatic accounting documents, sales and booking reports. You can print them anytime or schedule them to run at specific intervals. Your accountant can access the documents and reports directly from Johku whenever needed. If you use Netvisor, Johku can sync with your accounting software.

You can also schedule and manage various tasks such as:

  • Cleaning service in cottages and hotel rooms

  • Room deliveries

  • Restaurant orders and takeout

  • Guides’ tour preparations

  • Shipping goods to buyers using the Ship-It integration
